School workshops & clubs

Our school workshops and clubs are for children aged 5 – 11 years, and use the performing arts to really bring the curriculum to life for your pupils and enrich their learning.

Each cross-curricular workshop gives children the opportunity to explore the topic at hand to gain a deeper understanding, while also inspiring your teachers with fresh ideas they can carry on using in the classroom long after we’ve gone.

Our school workshops can be booked as a regular visit to support a topic, as a stand-alone workshop, or effective PPA cover.

After school & holiday clubs

Our after-school and holiday clubs provide your children with an exciting way to broaden their experiences and expand their interests.

The children love them because they get the chance to do things they might not otherwise get to do (like performing on a stage!); and the parents love them because they see their children’s confidence and abilities flourish!

The benefits

We want to give you the most effective workshop for your school’s needs, so we’ll tailor each one to your specific requirements and budget.

We offer workshops on most curriculum topics and subjects, which means booking a great workshop is easy:

  • You send us an enquiry
  • We’ll respond with a free proposal for either a bespoke workshop, or one we’ve already delivered (you may receive more than one proposal to choose from!).

How it works

At DramEd, we’re passionate about advancing children’s education through the performing arts. It’s a highly effective way of teaching, and there are lots of benefits of taking this approach.

It also gives children the opportunity to form new connections; be creative; and develop their confidence, alongside vital physical, communication and language skills.

Whatever subject you’re teaching right now, we can deliver a workshop that can help!

Our teachers

Our network of DramEd teachers are all highly-talented performers who spark curiosity and set the scene for future learning.

They all share a passion for learning through the performing arts and use their abilities as singers, dancers, and actors to make learning fun.

As you’d expect, they’re all DBS-checked and have Public Liability Insurance, as well as the relevant music licences needed to legally play music in your setting.

“From the moment you enter the classroom the children are absolutely enthralled by your creative and engaging method of delivery. Each child regardless of their ability, cultural background, or level of English beams with joy whilst interacting with you and working their way through the stories. You turn everyday learning into a magical adventure. One of the teachers said it’s like watching an actress on television.” Mr Hannay, Head Teacher, Three Bridges School

“DramEd has been Florence’s favourite club this term (she’s doing three at the moment!) She’s very excited about the performance.” Jo, Parent -DramEd After School Club
